Shelli has always been passionate about flowers and the entrepreneurial spirit.. So it comes as no surprise to those who know her that she would dedicate her working life to operating a retail floral shop. She began her journey working for a small family-owned flower shop in Minneapolis Minnesota. Being family-owned she had an excellent opportunity to learn about retail floral and operating a small business. Currently she shares that knowledge with other aspiring shop owners and designers as an instructor at Koehler Dramm's Institute of Floristry in Minneapolis Minnesota. In 1997, when presented with an opportunity to purchase an established retail flower shop in Downtown Hudson Wisconsin she leapt at the chance, and has been happily designing ever since. She is often asked about her favorite flower and she can not name just one and her favorites change every day and has always had a fondness for flowers. Even as a child the perfect gift would be a stunning bloom or two. Her favorite design style would be an innovative modern compact European design styles as well as mono botanical lifestyle designs. The Hudson Flower Shop has been located at 222 Locust Street in Downtown Hudson Wisconsin since 1946. This building has a varied past operating as a funeral parlor to being the home of JH Larson Ham radios. Hudson Flower Shop is a proud to be a long standing member of the Hudson community and are passionate about the St Croix River Valley. She is well educated in floral design as well as business management and shares her enthusiasm for the floral industry with others as an instructor at Koehler Dramm's Institute of Floristry in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He favorite flowers change daily as she has always has a fondness for flowers. She loves the innovative modern compact European design as well as mono botanical lifestyle creations.
